Photo Features:

Landscape Features: Unremarkably flat, featureless limestone plain with some glacial erratics

Flora & Fauna:     Very significant complex of alvar (limestone plain) species includig sping grasses in flower and grassland bird species including a remanant area for Loggerhead Shrikes in Ontario


Facilities: Parking on north and south sides

Access: Approx. 1.3km walk in to the Bluffs and slit caves and another 0.3km to "the Keyhole" geologica feature

Winter Access: Trails accessible, but parking facilities unknown

Notes: Very pleasant, but mostly unremarkable, 7km loop hike using the Main Trail of the Bruce Trail (white blazes) and Side Trails (blue blazes).

Hazards & Precautions: High cliffs and deep slit caves
